Our vehicle and its drivers are covered by insurance on every Getaround trip. Drivers can purchase additional coverage for 24/7 roadside assistance for accidents, flat tires, and breakdowns during a trip upon checkout

Eligibility to host in New York

Here's what you'll need to do to become (and stay) an eligible Getaround host in New York .

Provide proof of an annual safety inspection.

You'll submit a photo of the inspection and registration stickers, which typically appear on the front windshield of your vehicle.

Address any safety recalls on your vehicle.

Your car can't be added to Getaround until you've had all outstanding safety recalls addressed.
