A guaranteed earnings program means Getaround will make sure hosts earn a minimum amount each month they participate in the program. The amount Getaround pays directly to the host is equal to the difference (if any) between the guarantee and the amount made through guest bookings for that month. So, if the guaranteed amount is $1,800 and you earn $1,500 through guest bookings for the month, Getaround will send you an additional $300.
Payouts are made monthly, and will show up in your monthly statement as an adjustment, paid on the standard cycle (on the 15th of the month).
This program is available to all hosts in all current Getaround markets, however, eligibility is determined on a per car basis. The exact amount of your monthly guarantee, if eligible, is determined based on your car’s make, model, year, location, and available hours.

You can opt into the 2022 Earnings Guarantee Program at any time between now and August 31, 2022, but availability is limited, so the longer you wait, the less likely it will be that your spot will still be available. Once opted in, you must participate from the time you are accepted until the program’s completion, on August 31, 2022.
The first thing you need to do is sign up to share your car. Once you do, you’ll be put in contact with a member of the host support team who can answer any questions you have about this program, or anything related to the host onboarding process.
If you’re a new host, have just listed a car, and are interested in opting into the program, simply fill out the application form and a member of the Getaround team will be in touch within 7 days to let you know if you’re eligible.
